| production method | is prepared from p-dimethoxybenzene through the following steps. Mix carbon disulfide, chloroacetyl and dimethoxybenzene, add to the mixture of aluminum trichloride and carbon disulfide under stirring, and keep the reaction temperature at about 5 ℃. Put the reaction mixture into ice water, extract with carbon disulfide, recover the carbon disulfide and distill under reduced pressure to obtain 2, 5-dimethoxyacetophenone. It is refluxed with ethanol and sodium hydroxide solution for 45 hours, acidified with hydrochloric acid to pH = 2, and crystallized with water to obtain the finished product. |
